The 18 Gauge Wire Splice Connector is a perma-seal, heat shrink wire splice connector that completely seals the splice and provides maximum protection as well as stability during environmental exposure. For maximum protection from environmental exposure, once properly crimped, the splice connector should be heated with a small torch or lighter. This item protects against corrosion and offers greater pull strength in comparison to nylon and vinyl splices.
